It’s Nearly Christmas 1, 2 from Virtual Quilter

Just five sleeps!

Just a thought … it is nearly Christmas time, and a few days ago I planted a packet of thyme seeds, and today I think every seed has sprouted … and I have found another packet of thyme seeds. If I plant them in some dirt today, will I get more time for Christmas?

I think it is worth a try!

Christmas Tree Stands from Sew Karen-ly Created...

Do you hold on to things that may just come in handy someday? My container of empty Aurifil thread spools is testament to the fact that I do.  I have orange, red, green and grey ones...but mostly orange because that's the colour of the 50 weight spool I use most often.

Christmas Trees and Trims 7, 8 from Virtual Quilter

This design was left over from last year, but as it was the last I thought I should add a new one … with some of the Twelve Trees of Christmas.

Now I just might spend a few minutes adding a few more to the project file for next Christmas.

Christmas Forest and Tree Trims 8, 9, 10 from Virtual Quilter

I just counted the tree blocks in this design and there are three I haven’t made into small wall hangings (to hang on doors), but i have run out of doors to hang them on!

The second design could be a tablecloth, but they get stuff spilled on them the first time I put them on a table.

The last one would be a nice lap quilt, something which is rarely required around Christmas time here.

However, I have a lot of fun playing with the designs!

Christmas Trees and Trims 5, 6 from Virtual Quilter

I love that Christmas tree in the centre! I am sure they all have my name on those parcels … or perhaps they are just empty boxes I can use to store my Santa collection … and that would be a very useful gift!

Now it is on the top shelf, which would be a sensible place to store the Santa collection for 10 months of the year!
